New Year’s Day Concert (Highlights)
New Year’s Day, 11.15am

Filmed in Vienna, the New Year’s Day Concert is an annual highlight for both dancers and musicians with an estimated audience of 50 million viewers in 73 countries. Dancers from the Vienna State Opera Ballet dance at famous landmarks around Austria. This year’s choreography is by Ashley Page, and costumes by Vivienne Westwood. This is a shortened version of the full concert – the full version is shown at 7.00pm on BBC 4.
